Acrylic Door Cover Notice Boards: Single Door, Double Door and ECO Framing
An Acrylic Door Covered board — ADC in the catalog — is a notice board with a transparent acrylic door in front of it and a locking system on the door. The notices stay visible, but dust, handling and unauthorised changes stay out.
Plusmark lists three ADC models: a Deluxe 45 mm single door, a Deluxe 45 mm double door, and an ECO single door. The difference between them is framing, door count and the size range each is offered in.

Why the door changes the specification
A plain notice board is an open pin surface: anyone can add, remove or replace a notice, and dust settles on the paper. Both of those are acceptable in a staff room and unacceptable at a hospital reception or a society notice point.
The acrylic door cover protects notices from dust, moisture and handling, and the lock means only the person holding the key changes what is displayed. That is why ADC boards are the usual specification for government offices, institutions, hospitals, housing societies and public areas rather than for internal team walls.
Single door or double door
The choice follows the size, and the catalog size ranges make that clear. Single door models run from 1.5 × 2 ft up to 4 × 4 ft — one leaf opens, and the board stays manageable on a corridor wall.
Double door models start at 5 × 4 ft and go to 8 × 4 ft. At those dimensions a single leaf would be heavy and would need clearance to swing, so two leaves meet in the middle. If the wall you have is wider than about 5 ft, you are in double door territory.
Deluxe framing versus ECO framing
Deluxe 45 mm Triple Aluminium Framing is specified for strength, stability and long-term durability, and it reads as a premium installation in a lobby or a public corridor. ECO framing is lightweight aluminium, specified for economical and practical use, and it suits regular indoor applications where the board is not on public display.
Both keep the same functional core: transparent acrylic cover, locking, and a pin-up surface behind the door.
Ordering for government and institutional supply
The GEM Portal lists Plusmark as an approved brand for school and government supplies, and notice display work is what institutions usually raise through that channel.
Send the model, the size, the quantity and the installation location through the enquiry form. Plusmark warrants what it manufactures, but the schedule board's terms are confirmed with the authorised distributor or marketing executive rather than quoted on the page.
Questions on this topic
- What sizes are acrylic door cover notice boards available in?
- Deluxe single door is listed in 2 × 3 ft, 2 × 4 ft, 3 × 4 ft and 4 × 4 ft. Deluxe double door is listed in 5 × 4 ft, 6 × 4 ft and 8 × 4 ft. ECO single door is listed in 1.5 × 2 ft, 2 × 3 ft, 2 × 4 ft, 3 × 4 ft and 4 × 4 ft.
- Why choose a double door ADC board over a single door?
- Double door models cover the larger sizes, from 5 × 4 ft up to 8 × 4 ft, where two leaves meeting in the middle are easier to open and need less swing clearance than one wide leaf.
- Are ADC notice boards suitable for government supply?
- Yes. Plusmark is a GEM Portal approved brand authorised for school and government supplies, and notice boards and acrylic door cover notice boards are the range typically ordered for government offices, institutions, hospitals and public areas.
