Boards for Coaching Centres and Tuition Classes — Plusmark Display System

A coaching centre is a harder environment than a school classroom in one specific way: the same room runs back-to-back batches, often with different teachers, and the board gets written on and erased far more times per day than the timetable suggests.

Plusmark lists Training & Coaching Centers among the industries served, with boards suited to coaching centres, training rooms and tuition classes across the Deluxe Standard, Eco Premium and Eco Regular series.

Chalk or marker, batch by batch

Most coaching centres still teach maths and science on chalk, because long derivations are easier to write and easier to see from the back row. Plusmark chalk boards use Chalk Grade HPL Sheet — described in the catalog as non-reflective and glare-free, with clear visibility from all angles, which is the property that matters most in a room where students sit at an angle to the board.

Marker boards are the choice for rooms that also handle printed sheets, diagrams and annotation. High Gloss Marker Grade HPL on Eco Premium, High Gloss Melamine on Deluxe Standard and Eco Regular.

Where a centre wants both without two boards, the double-sided board gives marker on the front and chalk on the back in one frame.

Which series fits a coaching centre

Deluxe Standard is listed for classrooms, coaching centres and offices, with Electroplated Chrome Corners for a clean finish — the usual specification for a centre that wants the room to look professional without institutional framing.

Eco Premium is listed for classrooms, training rooms and offices, with ABS Dual-Tone Corner Design for added strength and refined appearance. Eco Regular is listed for home classrooms, tuition classes and small institutions, with a lightweight frame that is easy to handle and install.

Display beside the board

Answer keys, revision sheets, batch timetables and result notices all need a place. A magnetic board puts them beside the working — resin coated steel surfaces accept magnets, charts and holders. A notice board puts them on the wall beside the room: Super Fine Velvet Cloth on Deluxe Standard, 2 mm Blazer Cloth on Eco Premium for regular institutional use.

Batch timetables that change weekly are a dry wipe schedule board, made to your sketch in any design and any size.

Shared rooms and moving boards

Centres that run batches in several rooms often get more out of a movable board than a fixed one. A board stand lets the surface travel with the batch — three leg and four leg stands for stability, revolving for double-sided boards, zig zag to pack flat between sessions, telescopic where the height has to change between age groups.

Wall mounting is still the better answer for a room with one fixed teaching position and a clear wall.

Ordering for a centre

Send the room count, the board type and size per room, and whether any room needs a stand. Standard sizes run from 1 × 1 ft up to 3 × 4 ft across the series, and larger or non-standard sizes are made to requirement.

Questions on this topic

Which series is best for a coaching centre?
Deluxe Standard is listed for classrooms, coaching centres and offices, with Electroplated Chrome Corners. Eco Premium suits training rooms with ABS Dual-Tone Corner Design for added strength, and Eco Regular suits tuition classes and small institutions.
Should a coaching centre use chalk boards or white boards?
Both have a place. Chalk Grade HPL Sheet is non-reflective and glare-free with clear visibility from all angles, which suits long derivations. White boards suit rooms that annotate printed sheets and diagrams. A double-sided board carries both in one frame.
