Setting Up a School Block: Boards, Practice Boards, Benches and Stands — Plusmark Display System

Schools are the largest single category in the Plusmark client list, and a school order rarely looks like one product repeated. A block needs teaching boards in every room, notice display in the corridors and staff areas, practice boards in the primary section, and seating and stands across the whole thing.

This is how the pieces fit together, room by room, using the ranges listed in the catalog.

Teaching boards, by room type

The surface choice follows how the room is taught and how hard it is used.

Which series for a school

Metallic Premium is specified for schools, colleges, offices and institutional classrooms, with heavy-duty aluminium framing and Signature Dual-Tone Corners. Eco Premium is listed for schools, institutes and corporate environments. Deluxe Standard serves classrooms and coaching centres, and Eco Regular serves home classrooms, tuition classes and small institutions.

A block order usually mixes: the heavily used rooms and the corridor-facing installations get the higher series, and the lighter-use rooms get Deluxe Standard or Eco Regular.

Notice display across the school

Notice boards go in corridors, staff rooms, assembly areas and administrative blocks. The four series run from 2 mm Blazer Cloth with a soft pin-friendly core on Metallic Premium — specified for frequent and heavy pin usage — to Super Fine Velvet Cloth on Deluxe Standard and Eco Regular.

Where notices have to be protected or controlled, the acrylic door cover boards are the specification: a transparent acrylic door with a locking system, in Deluxe 45 mm triple aluminium framing or ECO lightweight framing. Institutional buyers usually raise this specification through the GEM Portal, on which Plusmark is an approved brand.

Primary section and study furniture

The Four Line & Square Line Practice Board is listed for primary and early learning classes, for handwriting improvement — letter size, spacing and alignment — with a square grid section for accurate number writing and basic maths practice. Line marking is provided as per school requirements.

The Homework Table, a foldable student study table with a 16 × 24 inch white board writing surface and a 9.5 inch height, serves hostel study rooms, reading halls and activity rooms. School benches are the seating side of the same order: fifteen models are listed, PDS-SB 801 to PDS-SB 815, with dimensions and seating configuration confirmed on enquiry.

Stands and movement between rooms

Not every board belongs to a wall. Training rooms, remedial classes and activity periods move boards between spaces, and the stand range covers three leg, four leg, revolving, zig zag and telescopic stands — plus newspaper stands, magazine stands and file racks for the library and staff room.

A revolving stand is the one to specify where a double-sided board is used on both faces, since the board turns over without being lifted.

How to structure the enquiry

One enquiry per block works better than one per product. Send the room-wise requirement — board type, surface, size and quantity — followed by the notice display requirement, the primary-section items and the furniture. Custom work such as practice board line marking or a printed schedule board needs the sketch attached, in CorelDRAW, Photoshop or Word.

Every item on that list is covered by Plusmark's manufacturing warranty; the distributor or marketing executive confirms what applies to each board once the requirement is in front of them.
