Metallic Premium, Eco Premium, Deluxe Standard or Eco Regular: The Series Difference — Plusmark Display System

Every Plusmark board — white, chalk or notice — is built in one of four construction series. The series decides how heavy the frame is, what finishes the corners, and how much daily use the board is meant to take.

Start with how often the board will be used. A classroom board written on all day needs a heavier frame and a harder surface than one in an office cabin.

Metallic Premium — intensive institutional use

The heaviest build: heavy-duty aluminium framing with an aluminium anodized frame, Signature Dual-Tone Corners, and premium-grade materials throughout, including rigid core construction on chalk boards. This is the series specified for classrooms, boardrooms and institutions where the board is used every day and by many hands.

It also carries the widest surface choice — marker, chalk, magnetic and ceramic — so a single series can match different rooms in one purchase order.

Eco Premium — regular institutional use

Premium-grade materials with an ABS Dual-Tone Corner Design. It covers the same product families as Metallic Premium, including white, chalk, both-side and notice boards, and is the sensible choice where a board sees regular but not continuous use.

Many schools pick this for standard classrooms and keep Metallic Premium for the halls that run back to back.

Deluxe Standard — dependable everyday use

Electroplated Chrome Corners and a clean, professional frame. Aluminium framing is used on the magnetic and ceramic variants. This is the everyday workhorse series for offices, coaching rooms and departments where the board matters but is not under nonstop load.

Eco Regular — light use and budget applications

A lightweight frame with standard plastic corners and a High Gloss Melamine surface. It exists for a real purpose: cabins, small rooms, notice boards and budget applications where the board gets written on occasionally.

Specifying this series for a lecture hall is the most common ordering mistake, because the surface and frame are matched to a workload that room does not have.

Mixing series in one order

There is no reason to buy one series for a whole building. Match series to room: Metallic Premium in lecture halls and ceramic where cleaning cycles are constant, Eco Premium in standard classrooms, Deluxe Standard in offices, Eco Regular in cabins and for notices.

Cork, fabric and combination boards are also available in Metallic Premium, Eco Premium and Deluxe frame variants, so a mixed specification can still look consistent.

Questions on this topic

Is a higher series always better?
Not always. Series should follow workload. A board that is written on occasionally does not need heavy-duty aluminium framing, and the money is better spent on size or on a heavier series in a room that is genuinely busy.
Do all four series come in white, chalk and notice boards?
White, chalk and notice boards are each built across the four series, so you can hold one series constant across a building or vary it room by room.
